Look Out National League: Christian Yelich is Feelin’ Himself Again

Christian Yelich is feeling good again. We’ve heard this before from the Brewers’ outfielder, but he seems to feel like things are going well for him at the plate. Yelich had a three-hit night in the Brewers’ 10-0 victory against the Philadelphia Phillies. In the last 30 days, the Brewers outfielder is batting .324 with two home runs, 33 hits, and 15 runs driven in. If you shave four games, it’s 340. The commentary from Yelich makes it seem like he’s ready to go on a run. We saw glimmers of it in August, and it appears to be a thing again in September. This only means good things for the postseason.

Yelich is seeing the ball really well right now. He had a great base hit up the middle off Aaron Nola then later in the game Yelich perfectly took the ball the other way spraying a double into the corner. These are good at-bats for Yeli. It’s not like he’s getting cheap hits or taking a ton of walks as he did for a few months.

We’ll see if Yelich can keep this hot streak going.
