What Year Is It? Johnny O’Bryant Trying Out For NBA Teams
Remember Johnny O’Bryant? If you don’t, you’re a bandwagon Bucks fan. Kidding of course, but it’s a great heat check on knowing if Bucks fans have been it for the long haul versus those who jumped on recently. O’Bryant or better known as JOB was the second-round pick of the Milwaukee Bucks in 2014. Many saw promise in O’Bryant, but the Bucks didn’t do much with him as he only lasted a year and a half then a few stops before heading overseas. Right now, O’Bryant is only 28 and trying to comeback in the league. He tried out for the Brooklyn Nets yesterday.
2014 NBA Draft pick F/C Johnny O'Bryant has worked out for the Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks sources tell me. He last played in the NBA in 2017-18 w/ Denver and Charlotte. #nba #nbatwitter #dubnation #gospursgo #fearthedeer #BrooklynTogether

Stranger things have happened in the NBA. I mean it took P.J. Tucker forever to get in the league and now the guy is getting paid 14 million for two years at age 37 to just party in Miami. Maybe O’Bryant will have a second life in the league. JOB has done alright overseas, but it’s nothing special. It’s not like he’s lighting it up and House of Highlights thinks he deserves a spot in the league. We’ll see if JOB gets another chance.
