Manny Pina Called Willy Adames’ Three-Run Homer in Brewers’ Big Inning

Milwaukee Brewers have been fans of the big inning in the last few games. On Monday night, things were no different. They were tied 4-4 with the hated Chicago Cubs. The same Cubs team that trails Milwaukee by three games heading into last night. After a testy top of the eighth inning where Devin Williams needed 34 pitches, Milwaukee exploded in the bottom of the inning with a massive inning scoring 10 runs in the eighth. That is the most runs scored in an inning since the Brewers got 10 in the first inning in a 2001 game against Washington. The best moment of the rally had to be after Christian Yelich gets intentionally walked, Manny Pina says Willy Adames is going yard and guess what he did.

There is no good video of it, but Brian Anderson acknowledged it on the broadcast. He told Willy that thing was leaving the park and sure enough it did. Now Adames had a pretty awesome bat flip as well which might make the Cubs’ fans cranky. He did note that it might have been a little too far, but when it comes to bat flips, I don’t care. Nor should Willy. He got caught up in the rivalry which is crazy to me. The guy has played in big matchups against New York and Boston, but the crowds must have never been like this. Willy is the best.
Just can't get enough of Willy Adames.
"I was telling the guys, ‘This is amazing. This is the big leagues. This is unbelievable.’ I said to Avi, ‘Bro, I’m living the dream. This is crazy.’ On a regular day, a Monday, to get the crowd going crazy like that? It’s unbelievable."
