New Giannis Book Paints New Mavs Coach Jason Kidd in a Very Bad Light

Jason Kidd is taking over the Dallas Mavericks this season. I don’t think enough is being talked about at that point. It’s fascinating to me. Why? Well, Kidd is not really welcomed here in Milwaukee. There is no ovation. There’s no cheering for him. In fact, it is lustful boos. One game I’ll mark on my calendar for the Bucks is their matchup against Dallas. It will be a rowdy crowd and they’ll welcome him properly. Well, it turns out that Kidd was kind of an asshole during his time in Milwaukee. This is not a surprise. An excerpt from Mariam Faber’s new book on Giannis went around yesterday which told a story of Kidd making the Milwaukee Bucks practice on Christmas Eve after a bad loss to the Charlotte Hornets.
I read the new Giannis biography that is coming out tomorrow. My biggest takeaway is that Jason Kidd should not be be allowed to be around other people let alone coach an NBA team. The worst story is his response to a team loss on the day before Christmas Eve. pic.twitter.com/SYdwfX3t9t

The thread goes into extensive details about the practice where Kidd basically worked Larry Sanders to almost death. Sanders had to check himself into the hospital after that practice. Add to that, the December 23rd game against Charlotte was the last that Sanders would play with Milwaukee. He would step away that season, and Sanders stopped players all together citing anxiety and depression. If you add him and Jabari Parker, that’s two guys he mentally fucked throughout his short coaching career.
I can’t believe there were media members campaigning for Kidd to get another job. This guy should be out of the NBA as a coach, not getting another shot with a premier team.
