Green Bay Packers had their usual Monday afternoon press conference with Mike McCarthy. At that time, McCarthy announced there will be no personnel changes made to the coaching staff, and Packers will move forward to Philadelphia. Green Bay decided on Monday, November 21st that they are going to be status quo for the rest of the 2016 season, and we, as Packers fans, are going to have to live with it, whether we like it or not. No one is getting fired, and no one is losing their job until January.

Does Dom Capers really deserve to be fired? No, there are too many injuries for Green Bay to really form a defense, but at the same time, there are some glaring red marks. The 50-yard plays the ill-timed blitzes such as Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix safety blitz that allowed for a long completion which led to a touchdown. Capers used to be great against young quarterbacks, and in the last two weeks, Marcus Mariota and Kirk Cousins tore up his defense. Yes, the resources are very limited, but at the same time, things need to change for the betterment of this team.

Look at Buffalo in Week 3, they fired their offensive coordinator and all of the sudden, Bills found an offense. How about New England sending a message with their defensive players? Green Bay is not sending any message. Everyone is remaining calm when the house is burning down around them. This is what makes people think this version of Packers is set up for failure. No one can pull the trigger on making a big move that shakes up the entire franchise. They are going to wait it out and see if something changes next week.

Odds are things will stay the same before change really happens, and we might point to this week when Green Bay sealed their fate on the season.
